Promoting at forums, especially niche forums, is something you just cannot ignore. More so, if the web is your main source of marketing, advertisement and the main mode of interacting with present and prospective customers. The World Wide Web might be only a decade old, but it has undergone waves of transformation. It all started with static websites, where the webmaster had to put up a set number of pages, and that was it! But that posed a problem for advertisers. Given that a website offered no new information for a repeat visitor, designing an advertising campaign for desired demographic profile more than hard.
Then dynamic websites came in to being, where the webmaster had to update the content on a continued base. This meant that the readers kept on coming back to the same site repeatedly to get more information. This solved the core concern of the advertisers. But within a short span of time, advertisers realized that endorsement by webmasters did not necessarily mean neutrality.
